I am a friend of Jamie's and also acquainted with your adorable girls when she brings them to our church--always look forward to that! The three of you have been in my prayers for some time and will continue to be.
Back off Stephie!! She's staying with me. I have been all but begging for a dog, and this my my big chance. (even if it's only on the weekends...lol) Just kidding, kind of. Seriously, I need to come see your pups too.
(Aunt Katy sounds so much younger than Great Aunt Katy) Ok.. Sandy I have two comments. First of all, what does Jamie really think about Ella? I remember that she got bit as a toddler when we lived on Main Street in Fairmount. Wow.. now that was definately a few years ago. I didn't think Jamie liked dogs. Ella is so cute that I am sure that she'll grow on Aunt Jamie really fast! And second.. After reading Steph's post I can understand why you didn't try to spell Shih Tzu. That could have been disasterous! Enjoy your puppies and your girls. And give your mamma a hug for me. Frani's the best!
Aunt Katy, I think that when you are an "aunt" before you were born, it doesn't make you old to be a "great aunt" (now the Grandma thing I can't help you with;) I can see why it would make you feel old. I always think of Auntie Will when I think of "great aunt." Jamie really does love the dog! Ever since we got our dog almost 9 years ago she has had way different feelings about dogs. particularly those she gets a chance to know.
I love Ella and Coal and Scottie. (even though Scottie is not technically with us anymore or Coal, I guess). Scottie helped "cure" me of my absolute petrification of dogs. Now, I like most.
Sandy, I just wanted you to know that I got your message and am glad that Jamie likes your puppy. You spoke of your great great Aunt Will in your post and sometimes my dear sister Kelly enjoys teasing me about being a little whimsical like Aunt Will. But, Auntie Will had two sides to her. Yes, she was eccentric and everytime the television networks would flash a "W" on the screen she would put on her Illini football helmet and flea to a dark closet to hide from the tornadoes, and it's quite possible that she 'invented' carrying toilet paper in one's purse, but she was also an extremely loving Aunt. And When I was a little girl I truly thought she made the best Ham and Cheese sandwiches in the world!

Yeah pretty Ella, I miss her already. You sure she is working out for you? Maybe she needs to come stay at Aunt Stephs! :)
PS-Shih Tzu
Paiger and Ella have similar hair in the pictures. They are sisters already. :)
