Rejoice, don't worry, think true thoughts..

4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
I read this passage this morning. This is nowhere near the first time I have read it, not even the first time in the past few weeks. But I needed to be reminded of what God expects of me, and what He promises.

What great verses, Sandy. I read this blog yesterday, but the verses came back to me last night when I needed them. I appreciate you posting the scripture that impacts your life, because you never know who else you could be ministering to with them. God's word is powerful, right?

P.S. Tell Peyton and Paige I told you to ask them "What is the Word of God"? and see if they can answer what we have learned in Sunday school. :)
