New Years Eve

We enjoyed a fun night in on New Years Eve with cousins Lauren, Brookelyn and Nathan coming over, as well as Aunt Brittany. Lots of snacking and game playing and dancing. Everyone was very tired by the time we toasted (at 10 pm) with sparkling grape juice (kinda yucky). The festivities continue tonight with Lauren and Brookelyn coming over for a slumber party/makeup party...pictures coming soon, I am sure!

OKAY....I can tell you celebrated with girls!

I (on the other hand) endured a Harry Potter marathon!

Funny how the years put a different spin on the way New Years is celebrated. While I love the changes I did take a moment to mentally jump around a Taco Bell parking lot singing "Happy New Year...Happy New Year!"

*sigh*

I have lived with Dad so long now that I thought macaroni was appropriate. We are looking forward to 08 as a year of joy and happiness for this family. God is good. p.s. Is there something I should know about a Taco Bell parking lot and a group of First Baptist girls??? love MOM

yeah..funny I told that story to my girls this year! They are way into "tell me a story" so I am constantly looking for new material. It is a great memory, but I am ok with the new version of celebrating too!

Oh...that is SO not one of our better stories, Mom Reese!

No worries...mild. Very Mild.

There was a moment in a Maranatha dorm room that was not so mild!...

BUT, I'll leave that story for Sandy also!

(Forever you will live in infamy!)

Times sure change but I STILL love my girls! :)
Taco Bell...I can't seem to remember that as it pre dates Gary! ;)

PS-The REALLY sad part is that neither Gary nor I even TRIED to stay up until midnight... I am becoming my PARENTS!
