Peyton's surgery went great!

me and Peyton in the holding room before her surgery

Peyton's surgery went really well! I had some specific things I was praying for, and am so grateful for the turnout. Right now, Peyton is snoozing on the couch while Aunt Jame, Grammy, Betsy and I sit by. Ella is standing guard over the patient! We were able to get the anesthesiologist that we wanted, and I was so happy to see all the familiar faces in Ambulatory Care and in the surgery holding room. Peyton's surgery went well, and she is recovering as well as can be expected. Her tonsils and adenoids are now gone, and she is sporting a brand new set of ear tubes. The ENT, Dr Uppal, was very kind, and he was very encouraging about the tonsilectomy being the best decision. I know that the next few days and up to two weeks might be a bit rough, but I am thankful that the surgery is finished and we are home. Thank you all who prayed for us, and please continue to do so!

So glad it went well! ELijah and I were praying that all would go smoothly! The pictures of her are cute - glad to see babydoll made it through okay!

WE'RE ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY NOW, PRAISE THE LORD FOR HIS GOODNESS TO US. THANKS TO ALL FOR SUPPORT AND LOVE. WE ARE VERY PROUD (IN A SPIRITUAL WAY!) OF PEYTON AND HOW BRAVE SHE WAS. ALSO FOR PAIGE WHO WAS VERY CONCERNED ABOUT HER SISTER. SANDY, YOU DID SO WELL, REST AS MUCH AS YOU CAN TONIGHT. SEE YOU TOMORROW, LOVE FROM GRAMMY AND POPPA

Hey, Peyt!

You did such a great job yesterday! You were so brave. Brookelyn, Lauren, and Nathan, and I prayed for you last night and this morning, on the way to school. Hope you're feeling great VERY soon! I love you!

Tell Peyt I said great job, brave girl. Loved seeing all the pictures. And Pager, I remember when my sister had her tonsils out and I wished it would have been me because she got all kinds of stuff and I didn't. But it was fun when she came home, because I got to pretend to be her nurse and make her eat ice. And she took home her barf pan and all kinds of stuff.

Love you all!

thanks everybody for the encouragement for Peyton. We are doing pretty well. She woke up once last night for more pain medicine..and hasn't wanted any yet this morning. She is kinda laying low. Daddy took Paige out last night for some fun..so she hasn't been too bored..we have also had some fun visitors for Paige to entertain. Thank you for your prayers!
